There are two charts in this file. Both compare the performance of a number of different waxes. The testing was done under carefully controlled conditions in a fastener engineering laboratory to insure that the results are comparable.

The fasteners were driven into two different materials: 1018 cold rolled steel and 6061 aluminum. The results of the tests into cold rolled steel are presented on one chart, the results of the tests into aluminum are presented on a second chart.

The "benchmark" product shown on each chart is an unwaxed fastener.
